Lenovo leaks new 10-inch ThinkPad Tablet

Source : Engadget

After much talk Lenovo has confirmed the rumors of a ThinkPad 10 with only a small look at the specs it seems that the ThinkPad 10 will be less than what the Surface 2 Pro is but better than its cousin, the ThinkPad Tablet 2. It will most likely be in the $600-$800 range so it may end up being cheaper than the Surface 2. Some of the specs shown were the following: a 1.6Ghz quad-core Intel Atom, a 1920 x 1200, 10.1 inch screen, 4GB of RAM, and up to 128GB of storage. To help you fill that storage they placed an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 2 megapixel front facing camera. Based on these early specs the ThinkPad 10 should be much more powerful than the Tablet 2.

The big advantages that the ThinkPad 10 has over it's sibling are most likely its optional items. There are promises of LTE and a pen input. It will also feature Windows 8.1 so you don't have to worry about Windows RT. The keyboard dock shown above is an optional Ultrabook Keyboard. Of course, all of this is optional so it may cost you more in the end.
