Razer Seirēn - The Microphone Made For Gaming (Pre-Release Review)

Razer has recently released their newest addition to the wide array of products available on their site; the Razer Seirēn (pronounced Siren).

Now first lets put something on the table first; this is a both expensive, and very impressive microphone. Coming in at the price of $179.99 USD for the base set, and $229.99 USD for the bundle (which includes a pop-filter, and shock mount), this could be a very steep price for anyone looking to get this quality recordings. This microphone is going to have a hard time pushing into the market, being that it is designed to serve the same purpose as the Blue Yeti microphone and possibly replace it.

This microphone has not been officially released yet, but Razer has given a few out to the people who happen to be lucky enough to be in the Razer Sponsored Streamer Program. (A full review can be found here). Many of the YouTubers and streamers that have received this amazing piece of equipment have been praising Razer for the sound quality and the ease of use.

The Razer Seirēn is currently unavailable as of 12/19/14 on Razer's website. They are now being back ordered into mid-January, so if you want to get your hands on this microphone, I recommend waiting till after the Christmas season, or waiting until the price lowers a little bit and it is sold at retailers.
